Golden Standard Condominium Management Inc. is an Ottawa-area condominium management provider created to offer a more personal, accountable and responsive style of management. Rather than building the business around high manager-to-property ratios, GSCMI is focused on manageable portfolios, direct communication, strong site presence and organized follow-through.

Our Founder Aaron O’Brien brings approximately five years of condominium-industry experience, including hands-on management of large condominium communities, townhome-style properties, Boards, owners, contractors, inspections, budgets, financial reporting, enforcement, AGMs and capital maintenance.

Aaron O'Brien

Aaron O’Brien is an experienced residential and condominium management professional with more than 10 years of experience in property management and over 5 years specializing in condominium management. A General Licensed Condominium Manager and Registered Condominium Manager (RCM), Aaron has developed extensive hands-on experience managing condominium communities of varying sizes and complexities.

His experience includes Board governance and support, financial and budget oversight, building operations, contractor and project management, maintenance coordination, owner and resident relations, rule enforcement, site inspections, major capital projects, and day-to-day community management.

Aaron’s career in property management has provided him with experience at multiple levels of residential operations, giving him a practical understanding of both the physical and administrative sides of managing communities. He is known for taking a hands-on, responsive, and service-focused approach, with an emphasis on clear communication, transparency, accountability, and strong relationships with Boards, owners, residents, and contractors.

As the founder of Golden Standard Condominium Management Inc., Aaron brings this experience together with a commitment to providing professional, personalized condominium management built around a simple principle: delivering The Golden Standard of Condominium Management.

COMPANY PHILOSOPHY

Our philosophy begins with establishing and maintaining a strong working relationship between the Board of Directors, owners and the property manager. The Board governs; management carries out the Board’s lawful direction, administers the day-to-day affairs of the Corporation and provides practical recommendations based on the Corporation’s governing documents and applicable legislation.
